United Healthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) www.uhccf.org
UHCCF’s mission is to offer medical grant money to families who need help paying for recurrent treatment conditions like cancer.
The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) www.nationalpcf.org
This nonprofit focuses on funding research related to childhood cancers. They have found success helping to fund four phase 1 clinical trials.
Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) www.bcrf.org
BCRF Believes that “research-and research alone-has the power to bring an end to cancer”
They provide funding for cancer research in areas like tumor biology, prevention and genetics among others. BCRF has awarded $66 million to 275 researchers to date.
Camp Kesem www.CampKesem.org
Camp Kesem is a free summer sleep away camp provided to children who have been impacted by their parent’s cancer. The camp operates 132 chapters across the country and is staffed by college students, medical personnel and leaders provide a fun environment for these kids to unwind and be with others going through similar life experiences.
